RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Houston, TX.
Summary:
The Senior Project Manager, Strategic Programs leads complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that align with strategic business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes. Partnering closely with executive leadership, this role translates organizational strategy into actionable plans, drives cross-functional collaboration, and ensures successful execution across business and technology teams.
Responsibilities include managing multiple concurrent programs, developing integrated project plans, mitigating risks, managing dependencies, driving stakeholder alignment, and providing executive-level communication and reporting. This leader serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives, influences decisions in a highly matrixed environment, and fosters accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives, ERP and/or WMS implementations, business process improvements, and organizational change efforts. Success requires strong strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering results.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* PMP certification required; MBA, ITIL, CCMP, or Prosci certification preferred
* 12+ years leading large-scale, cross-functional strategic initiatives
* 5+ years managing geographically dispersed teams
* Experience with ERP, WMS, or enterprise technology implementations
* Proven success delivering business and technology transformation programs
* Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive organizational alignment
* Preferred Industry experience: Supply Chain, Distribution, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, or Food Service
This role requires a strategic leader who can translate vision into execution, drive business transformation, and consistently deliver sustainable business value.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
