Golang Developer – Legacy WMS/DC Applications
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to support, modernize, and enhance legacy Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Distribution Center (DC) applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Go (Golang), backend development, system integration, and enterprise application modernization. This role involves maintaining business-critical warehouse applications while developing new microservices and APIs to improve operational efficiency and system scalability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance legacy WMS/DC applications using Go (Golang).
  • Analyze existing warehouse management solutions and implement modernization initiatives.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices for warehouse operations.
  • Integrate WMS applications with ERP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), and third-party logistics platforms.
  • Support inventory management, receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and returns processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, warehouse operations teams, QA, and DevOps engineers.
  • Participate in application migration from monolithic architectures to microservices.
  • Ensure application reliability, scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
