Job description

CompHealth is seeking a physician for a locum tenens opportunity that involves both inpatient and outpatient care. This role focuses on making the locums process easier for providers by handling credentialing, housing, and travel arrangements. The position requires expertise in various gastrointestinal procedures, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Practice Info

  • Primarily inpatient with some outpatient included
  • Both inpatient and outpatient practice setting

Responsibilities

  • See 12 patients per shift
  • Handle call for 8 - 12 patients seen and 3 - 4 admissions per 24 hours

Compensation

  • We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly

Requirements

  • Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, liver biopsy required
  • Esophageal dilatation, manometry, banding, push enteroscopy required
