Job description

Valley Inventory Service is currently hiring experienced Inventory Auditors, Counters, and Supervisors for a temporary project expected to last approximately 6 months, with the possibility of long-term opportunity for top-performing team members.
Candidates must have reliable transportation to various job sites, as this position involves frequent travel, including occasional travel to neighboring states.
Previous experience with an inventory counting or auditing company is required. Applicants with experience working for companies such as RGIS, WIS International, or PICS are strongly encouraged to apply.
Schedule
  • 6-8 hour shifts
  • Monday through Thursday or Friday
  • Early morning start times
  • Frequent travel opportunities available

Serving the community since 1970, Valley Inventory Service specializes in liquor, convenience, drug, hardware, warehouse, and grocery store audits. We are seeking dependable, team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to contribute immediately at customer locations.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Counting inventory accurately and efficiently
  • Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and remaining on your feet throughout inventories
  • Traveling to customer locations throughout Oregon and Washington
  • Working closely with team members to complete inventories on schedule
  • Maintaining strong attendance and punctuality

Accuracy, reliability, and speed are critical to success in this role.
Requirements
  • 2 forms of valid identification
  • Reliable transportation
  • Prior inventory counting/auditing experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules with varying hours
  • Ability to frequently squat, kneel, bend, climb ladders, reach, and stand for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours), with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

Required Experience
  • Inventory Counting: 1 year (Required)
  • Experience with RGIS, WIS International, PICS, or similar inventory companies: 1 year (Required)

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to relocate to Tri-Cities, WA before starting work (Required)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (Required)
