Job description

Description Electrical Safety Inspector Examples of Duties Under general supervision, makes inspection of electric wiring, apparatus, and other installations for the purpose of insuring compliance with laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. Performs related duties as required. TYPICAL TASKS: Makes inspection of electric wiring, electric signs, and the installation of electric motors and other equipment for the purpose of insuring compliance with laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.

Inspects finished work and work in process. Examines permits for the installation of electrical equipment. Keeps necessary records.

Reports violations and non-compliance with laws, ordinances, rules, regulations. Prepares reports.
