Customer Service Representative

The Customer Experience Representative (CER) will be responsible for all aspects of the sales order process. The CER will focus on accurate order entry for all accounts in an assigned territory. Along with order entry, the CER will provide support to the customer via phone and email. The support will consist of handling inbound calls, assisting sales with new account setups, researching account credit issues, communications with Supply Chain and Shipping, and customer communication and follow-up on order status. The CER will also assist their Regional Sales Executive (RSE) and Inside Sales Representative (ISR) with light sales duties if the RSE or ISR is traveling or on PTO.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales order process management including order entry, internal process flow and communication, and updates on order status changes
  • General account maintenance including assisting with research on credit issues, sourcing tax certificates, updating account information, etc.
  • Assisting sales with new account setups, quotes, etc.
  • Handle inbound calls for assigned territory
  • Maintain customer relationships by providing support and information through timely follow-up regarding customer inquiries
  • Partner effectively with RSE and ISR to drive territory coverage and maintain positive customer relationships, including routing qualified opportunities for further development and follow-up
  • Assist sales with maintaining accurate sales forecasts, data gathering, and reports by daily use of CRM for all contacts, accounts, registrations, and opportunities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree – Business or Marketing/Sales
  • Associates degree considered with 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience dealing with a technical product line – preferably within cellular data communications
  • Strong technical product background/aptitude in IP Networking and Public Wireless Data Technologies
  • Ability to become product certified with demonstrable expertise
  • Proven success in Customer Service working with Value Added Resellers, OEMs and end customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be organized and able to manage time effectively
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adhere to established deadlines and perform under pressure
  • PC and basic networking skills required with strong knowledge of using a CRM, plus Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Maintain a high level of integrity, quality work standards and service excellence

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000
