Job description

As an Sr Advanced Systems Engineer - Flight Control Systems here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating highly complex avionics systems while focusing on Automatic Flight Controls Systems including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and future UAM/UAS.
You will play a crucial role in creating system solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers, engaging in every aspect of the systems lifecycle from business development to product end of life. Honeywell Anthem is the industry's 1st Cloud-Connected "always-on" Integrated Cockpit system, featuring cloud-native communications, navigation, and surveillance systems, powered by a flexible software platform that can be customized for virtually every type of aircraft, from passenger planes and business aircraft to defense, general aviation and the rapidly emerging class of Advanced Air-Mobility (AAM) vehicles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct requirement analysis and decomposition for avionics systems.
  • Design and architect systems solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Engage in model-based systems development and integration activities.
  • Perform systems validation and verification to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Interact with customers to gather feedback and requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering, science, or technology).
  • 6 years of experience in flight controls or other avionics or engineering programs.
