Job description

Dignitas specializes in system and software analysis, design, development, testing, fielding, and courseware for Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training applications.  By Light Professional IT Services LLC readies warfighters and federal agencies with technology and systems engineered to connect, protect, and prepare individuals and teams for whatever comes next. Headquartered in McLean, VA, By Light supports defense, civilian, and commercial IT customers worldwide. Responsibilities * Install, operate, and maintain radio equipment ranging from HF to EHF systems.
* Support wireless communications and RF operational activities.
* Perform signal planning and RF analysis to determine transmission power requirements and equipment placement.
* Troubleshoot RF and wireless communication issues.
* Support operational readiness, maintenance, and sustainment activities.
* Assist with system configuration, testing, and diagnostics.
* Maintain technical documentation and operational records.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders as required.  Required Experience/Qualifications * Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. 
* Minimum 5 years of experience installing, operating, and maintaining RF and radio equipment.
* Experience with HF through EHF radio systems.
* Experience with signal planning and RF analysis.
* Experience troubleshooting RF and wireless communication systems.
* Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Special Requirements/Security Clearance * Active Secret Clearance required. Options By Light recognizes that our strength is our people.
