Job description

CTG is seeking to fill an Associate Wireless Engineer position for our client.

Location: Morrisville, NC
Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension

Duties:

  • Research and evaluate emerging wireless technologies, including 5G/5G Advanced, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite communications, UWB, and RF/antenna technologies.

  • Support wireless technology testing, analysis, prototyping, and proof-of-concept initiatives.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams, technology partners, and vendors to evaluate new connectivity solutions and industry trends.

  • Develop technical demonstrations and recommendations supporting future product development.

  • Assist with wireless certification, carrier approval, and regulatory requirements.

  • Document technical findings and communicate results to technical and business stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Wireless communications, RF, antennas, networking, and connectivity technologies.

  • Knowledge of cellular/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite, UWB, or IoT technologies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Familiarity with engineering tools, scripting, or data analysis is a plus.

Experience:

  • Internship, academic project, research, or professional experience in wireless engineering, RF engineering, antennas, networking, embedded systems, or IoT preferred.
