What You’ll Do: The Wire Transfer Specialist is responsible for performing operational support duties of the Wire Transfer Department under general supervision. Utilizes an automated wire transfer system to ensure all wires are processed in an accurate, timely, and compliant fashion. Process the wire transfer instructions through the Wire Transfer and SWIFT systems. Processing and repairing of online customer-initiated wires. Answers inquiries, resolves wire-related issues, and performs other support duties in order to facilitate client servicing and production goals. Responsibilities: Guarantee assigned wire transactions from all channels, foreign currency payments, customer service, wire investigation/research, and reconcilations are done in a complete and timely manner and are in line with all policies and procedures, established service levels, as well as within audit and compliance requirements Ensure all outgoing wires have appropriate approval prior to transmitting funds Monitor incoming wire queues to ensure assigned transactions are posted in a timely and accurate manner Provide elite customer service regarding wire transfers Monitor and review "OFAC" hits and ensure compliance with Financial Crimes business unit requirements Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors, communicate findings to management, and recommend solutions for process improvements Assist with Payment Operations reporting Performs support tasks that occur during branch, department, and client inquiries. Serves as an initial point of contact for wire-related requests or issues received via phone or email Other duties as assigned by Team Manager/Team Lead

What Do You Need?
  • 2+ years of wire transfer or bank operations experience in a production environment within a Bank/Credit Union
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience using Finzly and FIS software preferred
