Job description

Our escrow processor is responsible for the timely processing and preparation of our escrow files
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and send opening letters and thank you acknowledgement to all parties to the transaction.
  • Confirm the accuracy of file information when matched to the original purchase contract -- zip codes, property address, spelling of names, marital status of buyers etc
  • Order title commitments and distribute to all parties
  • Clear title requirements, including survey review.
  • Order and update as necessary payoffs/estoppels and surveys
  • Prepare seller documentation Prepare receipts for all funds received from customers and/or lenders
  • Order wire transfers and provide wiring instructions
  • Returns all calls, voicemails and e-mails in a timely manner
  • Ability to perform all tasks of the receptionist (as backup)
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains cordial relationship with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers and sellers to promote/solicit business
  • Adheres to company policies and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of (1) years of escrow experience preferred but training can be provided
  • Knowledge of SoftPro a plus

EDUCATION
  • A high school diploma is required
