Job Title: Wire Cutter

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wire Cutter who will be responsible for pulling wire for customer orders and organizing spools of wire and other materials. The job involves sometimes pulling three wires at once to bundle them into a new spool, managing dense and heavy wires, and utilizing electrical crimpers, cutters, and machines for cutting wire.

Responsibilities

  • Pull wire for customer orders and organize spools of wire and materials.
  • Occasionally pull three wires at once to bundle into a new spool.
  • Utilize electrical crimpers, cutters, and machines to cut the wire.
  • Engage in occasional inventory management of the wire department.
  • Perform sweeping, housekeeping, organizing, and scrapping materials.
  • Use a forklift to manage spools from the racking, if experienced.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with wire cutters, crimpers, and spooling machines.
  • Electrical knowledge of different wire widths and gauges, e.g., 500mcm copper.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
