Job description

A Warehouse Associate - Fabrication/ Assembler is responsible for the accurate manufacturing of wire rope slings and custom lifting assemblies according to product specifications. This role will require strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures and the ability to work with various fabrication tools and equipment while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. 

  • Manufacture wire rope slings and custom assemblies with precision and attention to detail.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wire rope and related components according to job specifications.
  • Operate hydraulic presses, cut-off saws, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Use hand tools such as saws, hammers, crimpers, and measuring tools during the fabrication process.
  • Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality standards and proper construction.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards when operating machinery and tools.
  • Navigate basic computer systems to process job orders, input fabrication data, and track production.
  • Safely operate forklifts to move materials and completed assemblies within the shop when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient fabrication environment.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job status, material needs, or fabrication issues.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Assist other fabrication team members as needed to support department workflow.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, equipment use, and fabrication operations.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on fabrication techniques, safety standards, and equipment use. 

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability of lifting and maneuvering larger assemblies and performing physically demanding tasks as required by project needs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
