Job description

Responsible for the day-to-day operations within that office which includes wiring and processing domestic incoming and outgoing customer funds, correspondent bank customer funds, fed funds, bank investments and international wires. They are required to meet deadlines for the investment of fed funds for each business day and accurately calculate and maintain the necessary cash needed for the bank's operations which may include the investment or borrowing of fed funds from other institutions. Essential Duties

1. Full knowledge of Fedline Advantage/Direct Line Wires in Jack Henry Silverlake.

2. Process Outgoing Wires over Direct Line Wires, Chase or Fedline Advantage.

3. Monitor Incoming Wires when using Direct Line Wires, Chase or Fedline Advantage, looking for unposted wires with Direct Line Wires.

4. Logging of Outgoing Wires and Daily Fedline balances

5. Calculation and Analysis of Daily Cash Requirement, Purchase Funds if needed.

6. Pull daily statements of Up Stream Correspondent Banks

7. Creation of GL Account Entries

8. Log Rates from Up Stream Correspondent Banks and complete daily Fed Funds Report.

9. Settlement of Fed Funds Which Includes Calculation for Daily and Overnight Investments

10. Balance Wire Clearing Account

11. Verifying All Wire Forms and Daily Log Packet to be sent to Scanning Department.

12. Analysis of Affected GL Accounts

13. Complete various spread sheets for tracking purposes

14. Represent the bank to the customer in a courteous and professional manner. Furnish prompt, efficient, and accurate service.

15. Give attention to detail and provide excellent communication skills.

16. Maintain work area in a clean, neat, and professional environment.

17. Participate in training sessions as required by supervisor.
