Position Summary: In this role you will operate wire drawing equipment. Wire drawing is a metalworking process used to reduce the cross-section of a wire by pulling the wire through a single, or series of, drawing die(s) to meet customer specifications. Essential Job Duties:

  • Draw round, shaped wire in various alloys meeting product specifications

  • Set up, operate bull block, 8 strand and 10 strand wire drawing equipment

  • Operate batch, strand annealing furnaces

  • Follow documented procedures and process routers for various alloys

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

  • Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses
