Description

The Production Assembler-Level 1 assembles products or components focusing on ensuring items are put together according to specific instructions, drawing and/or quality requirements.  


Responsibilities 

  • Verify cable/ wire and parts against work order bill of material and drawings. 
  • Read drawing/build work order instructions and verify cable/wire cut lengths. 
  • Build assembly per drawing/quality specification and requirements. 
  • Test first piece connector assemblies for electrical continuity. 
  • Make visual inspections on crimps and solders. 
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues when necessary. 
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. 
  • Ensure work order build times conform to build standards and order due dates. 


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents, blueprints, and assembly instructions. 
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control. 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating parts. 
  • Flexibility to work overtime if needed. 

Working Conditions 

  • Full-time position with standard first shift hours 
  • Flexibility may be required to support business schedules, events, or urgent priorities 
  • This position is fully onsite 

This role has an hourly range of $17-$20hr based on experience. In addition to that, this position is eligible for an incentive plan with the ability to earn up to $500 per month, paid out quarterly.
