Job description

The Local Fuel Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

  • Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
  • Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
  • Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience
  • CDL Class A or B
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred 
  • Current DOT medical certification
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Seasonal Schedule Options:
We offer multiple work rotations based on operational needs and employee preference:

  • 6 months on / 6 months off
  • 7 months on / 5 months off
  • 8 months on / 4 months off
  • 9 months on / 3 months off

During your active season, you’ll play a critical role in delivering propane and supporting customers throughout highdemand winter months. Offseason periods provide extended time away from work between active assignments.

  • Consistent, full-time hours during peak heating season and opportunities for overtime
  • Opportunity to return each season based on performance and business needs
  • Hands-on role supporting residential and commercial propane customers
