WHO YOU ARE:

You enjoy cleaning and housekeeping tasks and bring a happy demeanor to the building.       

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Keeps Bingo building clean, sanitized, and stocked; includes restrooms, bingo floor, VGD game rooms, parking lots, breakrooms, and other work areas in accordance with departments SOPs.
  • Completes daily tasks logs.
  • Displays and removes (when applicable) hazard signs, i.e., "Wet floor", "restroom closed", "Cords on floor" and others as needed.
  • Clean tile, vinyl, and carpeted floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. in the Bingo Hall as directed.
  • Pick-up and remove trash and recyclable materials from the building and wash trash cans as needed.
  • Gather, empty and clean ashtrays.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Assist with the set up and tear-down, arrange, and/or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Collect soiled laundry articles from designated MIB locations and then load articles, start washers and driers to regulate machine processes to clean laundry.  Once the cycle is complete, fold, sort and restock articles.
  • Handles and disposes of Sharps Container and other bio-hazardous materials.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using Glass or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners to prevent damage.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Since we first opened on January 21, 1985, Muckleshoot Bingo has helped the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe launch a period of economic prosperity. We have grown from our humble beginnings as a small bingo tent located where our sister property Muckleshoot Casino now stands, into a state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot entertainment space, boasting two floors with over 1,000 bingo seats and over 500 of the hottest Vegas-style slot machines, and annually employ over 200 people from across the greater Auburn area.
