Job description

Job Title

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Chief, Customer Support in administering all aspects of the section. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position.

Duties

DUTIES:

  • Assists the section chief program manager in administration of the Customer Support Programs. Develops and administers a viable Individualized Newcomer Treatment and Orientation (INTRO) program and publishes welcome packages for new unit members to include applicable information with regards to the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) program.
  • Responsible for various special Customer Support programs such as Memorialization program and Casualty Services program. Also responsible for the wing INTRO program and family care responsibilities. Administers actions in Automated Reserve Orders Writing System-Reserves (AROWS-R).
  • Assists in advising commander and staff on various Customer Support programs. Ensures accuracy of Personnel Data System (PDS) and performs functional review of data reliability. Responsible for input of data pertaining to customer support programs.
  • Provides training to ARTs, AGRs, traditional reservists, civilian employees, etc. Conducts in-house, classroom, and on-the-job training on applicable elements of the program.
  • May be required to perform Installation Personnel Readiness duties and/or assist as directed. Receives monitors and controls contingency, OPLAN exercises or rotational TDY requirements levied by base or higher headquarters and provide necessary documents to unit commander for use in selection of personnel.
