Job Summary
We are seeking a wine sales professional to join our team!  You will make wine recommendations to our guests, supervise the serving of our wine selection, and develop relationships with distributors. The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about all aspects of the wine industry and has the ability to drive sales by upselling our inventory.
Responsibilities: 
  • Recommend wine pairings to customers
  • Describe various wines and their features to patrons
  • Plan and assist in wine tastings and events
  • Manage wine cellar and ensure bottles are properly stored
  • Educate staff on available wines
  • Build relationships with vendors and negotiate the best prices
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations

Qualifications
  • WSET certification (or similar) or degree in hospitality is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of wine, winemaking, and local vineyards
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends with occasional travel amongst companies and events
