As a Security Officer Armed Response Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional communication and customer service. This driving role calls for an agile, reliable professional who works collaboratively, puts people first, and acts with integrity while supporting a controlled environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
