Auto Glass & Windshield Department Manager / Lead Technician
Blackstone Toyota - Fresno, CA
Blackstone Toyota is seeking an experienced Auto Glass Technician ready to take the next step in their career. This is more than just a windshield installation position-we are looking for someone who has the knowledge, leadership, and drive to build and manage an in-house automotive glass department from the ground up.
If you have experience replacing automotive glass and understand how to grow a profitable operation, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
  • Perform windshield replacements and repairs on all makes and models.
  • Replace door glass, back glass, quarter glass, and other automotive glass components.
  • Calibrate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) after windshield replacement (or be willing to become certified).
  • Develop and implement processes for a new in-house auto glass department.
  • Assist in selecting tools, equipment, and inventory needed to operate efficiently.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Service, Collision Center, and Parts Departments.
  • Ensure all repairs meet OEM and safety standards.
  • Help grow the department into a profitable operation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of automotive glass installation experience.
  • Experience with ADAS calibrations is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of OEM installation procedures.
  • Leadership or management experience is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
