Job Description:

  • Employees in this job function are responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient operations of physical or virtual servers, private cloud, networks (including telecommunication), PCs, and other business critical infrastructure components.
  • They oversee the technology infrastructure that supports the business and support internal users in troubleshooting and escalating issues that impact system health.
  • They are also responsible for setting up user systems and operating systems. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, mainframes, telecommunication network and virtualization platforms.
  • Collaborate with the security teams to implement and maintain robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls,.
  • Configure and maintain networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS and wireless access points, to support seamless communication within trusted corporate and with untrusted external networks.
  • Establish and maintain data backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity during system failures or following malicious threats.
  • Monitor usage patterns of enterprise systems to identify potential issues like SLA metrics and proactively resolve them to ensure the continued availability and reliability of critical systems .
