Seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Engineer to design, implement, administer, and support enterprise Windows Server environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, performance, and availability of Windows-based infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Active Directory, virtualization, automation, patch management, and enterprise security practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, and newer).
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.
  • Perform server provisioning, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
  • Deploy and maintain VMware and/or Hyper-V virtual environments.
  • Configure and manage Windows Failover Clustering and high-availability solutions.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, hardening standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage patching and vulnerability remediation across server infrastructure.
  • Monitor server performance, capacity, availability, and trends using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and infrastructure automation platforms.
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex server, operating system, and infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with network, cloud, security, and application teams on infrastructure initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident response activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of Windows Server administration experience in enterprise environments.
