These include the use of personal protective equipment such as harnesses, helmets, and non-slip footwear, as well as secure anchoring systems and regularly inspected scaffolding or platforms. Before beginning work, window washers often participate in safety briefings and are required to be trained in fall protection and emergency procedures. Regular equipment checks and adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines are standard practices to ensure a safe work environment.
