Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Infrastrastructure Systems Engineer (CISE) to join our Colorado Springs, CO team. The ideal candidate will have system administration expertise in Amazon Web Service (AWS) Amazon Machine Images (AMI), managing and optimizing Windows and Linux systems, as well as virtual infrastructures. This role requires a hands-on professional with a robust understanding of security and risk management, and system monitoring. The candidate must have a proven track record of designing and implementing solutions that comply with security policies, maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment.
Essential Functions:
  • Utilize cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Service (AWS) Amazon Machine Images (AMI)
  • Installation of monitoring agents, STIGing, and Hardening AWS AMIs
  • Update Packer configurations and scripts to facilitate AWS AMI STIG/Hardening and installation of custom tools such as Viper.
  • Development of an automated patching methodology using AWS System's Manager.
  • System Administration experience with AWS Elastic Compute Cloude (EC2)
  • Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems.
  • Manage and maintain Windows systems to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of server systems and network infrastructure to support business continuity and performance.
  • Monitor system performance and resource usage, identify potential problems, and implement solutions to maintain system resilience and security.

Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Required Professional Certifications: CCNA- Security, Security+ CE, or higher certification

  • Experience working with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $92,500-$171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
