Job description

Christmas Dcor by A. Arsenault & Sons, Inc. brings the magic of the season to life through professional holiday lighting installations for residential and commercial properties throughout Massachusetts & Connecticut.

We're hiring an Installer - Holiday Lighting. This active, hands-on position is ideal for candidates with experience in construction, roofing, landscaping or other outdoor trades who enjoy physical, outdoor work and delivering high-quality results. The role requires confidence working at heights, including climbing 28-foot ladders daily.

This is more than a seasonal opportunity. Build a year-round career with us by starting in holiday lighting and transitioning into a full-time Lawn Care Technician - Pesticide Applicator role. We provide training and support to obtain your Massachusetts Pesticide License.

  • Pay rate $22/hour
  • Schedule starting at 8:00am Mon-Fri and Saturdays during peak season

Requirements for our Installer:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license with 3+ years of driving history
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience in construction, roofing, landscaping or other outdoor trades
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including cold
  • Comfortable working at heights and climbing 28-foot ladders daily
  • Experience with frequent ladder use
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally
  • Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently and as a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Available to work scheduled hours and overtime during peak season
  • Must pass a background check

Physical Requirements include ability to:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Walk, stand, climb, crouch, and perform physical work for extended periods
  • Safely use small equipment, hand and power tools
  • Safely operate equipment within manufacturer's 300 lb. weight limit
  • Safely work around vehicles, trailers, and other equipment

Responsibilities for our Installer:

  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, materials and equipment
  • Prepare equipment and materials for daily installation projects
  • Install and remove holiday lighting and dcor safely and efficiently
  • Apply decorating techniques for lighting bushes, windows, trees, roofs, etc.
  • Operate trucks, trailers, and bucket trucks
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment, jobsites and a professional appearance
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and team
