Job description

Job Overview ( NEED EXPERIENCED TINTER MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

We are a high-volume automotive styling shop seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Tint Installer to join our team. In this role, you'll professionally apply window tinting film to vehicles quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality — enhancing aesthetics, privacy, heat rejection, and UV protection for every customer. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean, precise work, moves efficiently under volume, and treats every vehicle with care from the moment it pulls in to the moment it leaves.

Perk: Our shop is fully air-conditioned — a big deal working in Arizona heat.

Duties

  • Install window tint film on vehicles with speed and precision, maintaining consistent quality even during high-volume days
  • Prepare vehicles by thoroughly cleaning windows and removing existing tint or debris as needed
  • Measure and cut film accurately and efficiently — whether hand-cutting or plotter-cutting — minimizing waste to keep material costs down
  • Apply tint smoothly and evenly — no bubbles, wrinkles, or lifted edges
  • Operate hand and power tools safely, including squeegees, heat guns, and cutting tools
  • Keep vehicles clean before, during, and after the job — leave every vehicle in better condition than it arrived, including wiping down water spots and removing all trash, tools, and materials from the interior
  • Clean, sweep, and mop your work area at the end of each shift
  • Keep the tint room organized and presentable for other techs working in the shop

Requirements

  • Proven experience tinting vehicles in a dealership or automotive shop setting
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume shop without cutting corners
  • Strong film-cutting skills with a focus on minimizing waste — whether hand-cutting or using a plotter, you're fast and don't burn through material
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and safe, confident use of hand and power tools
  • Physical ability to lift materials and stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with safe experience operating company vehicles
  • Experience with XPEL film and the XPEL plotter software is a plus, but not required — skilled hand-cutters are welcome

Why Join Us

We move a high volume of vehicles and need someone who can keep pace without sacrificing quality — someone who takes ownership of their space, respects every customer's vehicle, and helps keep the shop running clean and organized for the whole team. Air-conditioned shop, steady volume, and room to grow for the right installer.
