Knowledge of system administration and scripting can help in customizing or managing program managers effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Window Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Window Manager, you need strong knowledge of graphical user interface (GUI) concepts, proficiency in programming languages like C or C++, and experience with operating system architectures. Familiarity with toolkits such as X11, Wayland, or Windows API, and sometimes open-source contributions or certifications in software development, is typically required. Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills help you manage complex user interactions and system resources efficiently. These abilities are crucial for ensuring stable, user-friendly, and visually appealing desktop environments that enhance productivity and user satisfaction.

Operations Lead / Senior Operations Manager – Window Hero Atlanta

Company Overview

At Window Hero Atlanta, we are a premier, fast-growing exterior cleaning company specializing in high-end residential and large-scale commercial cleaning services across the Atlanta area. We pride ourselves on pushing the boundaries of our industry by using cutting-edge technology—including state-of-the-art commercial drone cleaning systems—to deliver unmatched results. As we aggressively expand our fleet and scale our commercial footprint, we are seeking a powerhouse Operations Lead to step in, take ownership of our daily execution, and help drive our next phase of growth.
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and growth-minded Operations Lead / Senior Operations Manager to join the Window Hero Atlanta leadership team. This is a critical position designed for someone who has a "true cleaning level" understanding of the industry but possesses the business acumen and leadership capability to scale an organization.
Please Note: This is an active, field-first leadership role. You will not be managing from a desk. While you will handle high-level scheduling and logistics, you will be working on-site, in the field, and on jobs daily alongside our crews to ensure flawless execution, enforce safety, and drive efficiency. If you are a natural leader who loves optimization, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to be highly visible and hands-on in the field every day, this is your next step.
Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operational Leadership: Manage, schedule, and optimize a growing fleet of Window Hero service trucks and field technicians to maximize daily efficiency, routing, and profitability.
  • Field Execution: Work in the field and on job sites daily alongside the crew to ensure projects are executed to Window Hero's elite standards.
  • Commercial Project Management: Lead the logistical planning, setup, and on-site execution of major commercial exterior cleaning projects, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and up to spec.
  • Advanced Technology Utilization: Oversee and execute advanced high-access projects utilizing our commercial cleaning drone systems (training/certification provided if not already held).
  • Asset & Fleet Management: Implement and enforce daily truck and equipment inspection checklists. Hold crew leads accountable for vehicle cleanliness, chemical inventory, and preventative maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime.
  • Safety & Compliance Ownership: Enforce strict job-site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, proper rigging/harnessing for high-access work, and strict adherence to FAA regulations during drone operations.
  • Quality Assurance & Crew Mentorship: Implement rigorous quality control standards, perform site audits, and mentor field crew leads to maintain a 5-star customer experience and drive positive Google reviews.
  • Client Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for commercial property managers and high-end residential clients during site walk-throughs, technical assessments, and project handoffs.
Qualifications & Experience

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in exterior cleaning (pressure washing, soft washing, window cleaning, or commercial facility services), with at least 2 years in a dedicated supervisory or fleet management capacity.
  • Field Presence: Must be fully comfortable working in the field daily, leading by example on job sites, and being hands-on with equipment and crews.
  • Commercial Competency: Proven track record of handling logistics, safety protocols, and client management for large-scale commercial jobs.
  • Tech & Drone Savvy: Highly comfortable with modern operational/scheduling software. Part 107 Drone Pilot License is highly preferred (or a strong willingness and aptitude to get certified immediately).
  • Elite Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting logistics, crew schedules, and client needs on the fly.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various weather conditions (Georgia heat/rain), lift up to 50+ lbs regularly, and work comfortably at heights (ladders, roofs, lifts) when traditional high-access methods are required alongside drone operations.
  • Clean Driving Record: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are strictly required to operate company fleet vehicles.
What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary structured around industry experience.
  • The opportunity to be a key leader in an aggressive, tech-forward company where your impact directly dictates your career and financial growth.
  • Access to cutting-edge industry equipment, technology, and advanced certifications.
  • Paid time off and company vehicle/stipend allowances.
