Position at FloForm Countertops
STONE COUNTERTOP INSTALLER (1099 SUB-CONTRACTOR)
With 16 branches and five manufacturing facilities located in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, FLOFORM Countertops manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year. Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of the Best Managed Companies in North America.
Required immediately, Floform is seeking a STONE COUNTERTOP INSTALLER (1099 SUB-CONTRACTOR) (Location is betweenMissoula to Kalispell and be willing to travel in all surrounds areas in between.)
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 2+ years previous experience with stone countertops
  • Must have liability insurance and workers comp coverage etc.
  • Be able to read/understand custom, detailed layouts
  • Deliver high quality professional service along with exceptional customer service on every job on behalf of Accent Countertops
  • Have reliable transportation and able to provide own tools for the job
  • Be flexible and willing to stay and get the job done right the first time
  • Pass a background check

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customers' homes/business to install stone countertops
  • Determine and implement the best layout to achieve a desired pattern for tile installation to achieve highest quality workmanship on the job site
  • Remove any old stone, tile, grout and adhesive using chisels and scrapers and clean the surface carefully
  • Follow specifications for installation of new stone including accurate measures, proper installation to fit around obstacles, application of motor, finishing and dressing joints etc.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged countertops
  • Other duties as assigned
