Who We Are

Crystal Clear Installations Inc. is a busy, growing fabricator of commercial aluminum storefronts, curtain walls, and window systems. We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Aluminum Fabricator Helper to join our production team. If you are mechanically inclined, good with your hands, and eager to learn a skilled trade, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

As our Fabricator Helper, you will be the main support for our skilled technicians. Your day will be fast-paced and hands-on. Responsibilities include:

  • Material Handling: Safely moving long aluminum extrusions and other materials from storage to the fabrication line.
  • Preparation: Assisting with measuring and cutting aluminum parts using saws (miter saws, chop saws).
  • Finishing: Deburring (smoothing) sharp edges with files and grinders after cutting.
  • Assembly: Acting as a "second set of hands" to help assemble frames using basic hand and power tools (drills, screw guns, riveters).
  • Detailing: Installing rubber gaskets, weatherstripping, and sealant into frames.
  • Shop Maintenance: Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe; includes sweeping, emptying metal recycling, and organizing tools.
  • Final Prep: Wrapping finished products for safe transport and assisting with loading trucks.

What We're Looking For

This is an entry-level to mid-level role, but the right attitude and skills are key.

Required:

  • MUST be able to accurately read a tape measure (to 1/16th of an inch).
  • Ability to perform physical labor: consistently lift 50-75 lbs, stand for your entire shift, bend, and kneel.
  • Basic experience with hand/power tools (e.g., power drill, impact driver).
  • A strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions precisely.

Preferred (But Not Required):

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or fabrication shop.
  • Familiarity with operating chop saws or punch presses.
