Position Summary:

The Window & Door Specialist supports the sales team by providing expert assistance on window and door products, handling walk-in customers, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. This role involves guiding customers through product selection, processing orders, preparing quotes, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to fulfill customer needs. The specialist must have strong product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with vendors and purchasing to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Assist walk-in customers by providing knowledgeable recommendations on window and door products, including materials, styles, and performance options.
  • Proactively manage and maintain accurate sales team quote pipeline and order pipeline in BisTrack.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product innovations, and building codes to educate customers and support sales efforts.
  • Maintain an organized and updated showroom, ensuring product displays effectively showcase available options.
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support project specifications and follow up on customer inquiries.
  • Resolve customer concerns related to product selection, availability, or order fulfillment in a professional and timely manner.
  • Participate in training sessions and company meetings to stay up to date on new products and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in window and door sales, customer service, or a related role in the building materials industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of window and door products, including materials, energy efficiency ratings, and installation best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers and team members effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing quotes, orders, and product inquiries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic sales environment.
