Dealer Sales Team: 

The dealer sales team is a dynamic team of sales professionals with a history of growing sales profitably and building meaningful long-term customer relationships. The Regional Product Specialist will provide technical support and expertise to independent dealers across a region, taking over as the main point of contact after orders are entered and fulfilled. Supported by a dedicated team of territory sales managers as well as the industry's best customer service, this position represents an exciting opportunity to connect and support our customers as well as take this business to the next level. 

Mission: 

This role will be primarily responsible for supporting customers after an order is placed, however, it also includes assisting dealers in pre-planning for an order. This role will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting and potential site visits (potentially before or after the sale). The ideal candidate will have a sales mindset, be collaborative in nature, have strong communication and follow up skills, have a very high level of product expertise across the Graber product portfolio, in addition to developing close relationships with our customers. 

Objectives: 

  • Collaborate with the Dealer Sales team in designated region to drive strategic initiatives. 
  • Provide service, technical support and product training to our dealers/franchisees (before and after sale). 
  • Provide training support for the TSMs throughout the region. 
  • Primary point of contact for escalated order concerns/trouble shooting and site visits across the designated region. 
  • Must be able to lead and assist in measures and installations. 
  • Subject matter expert; provide high-level of technical support to dealers/franchisees throughout the region. 
  • Provide troubleshooting and creative solutions when required for complex jobs/job sites. 
  • Build value-add relationships with dealers/franchisees; ensure best practices and maximize success with our product portfolio. 
  • Provide reporting to Regional Sales Manager detailing issue resolution and educational investments. 
  • Be a resource for our quality team, providing feedback from the field. 
Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred. 
  • 7+ years of sales experience; industry experience in window treatments or interior design preferred.  
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region; valid driver's license and good driving record required. 
  • Candidates with industry and SWF product knowledge are strongly encouraged to apply. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties. 
  • Creative problem solving is essential; must have imagination and innovative ideas to recognize and respond to customer's needs. 
  • Comfort with hand tools, ladders, navigating construction sites and safety best practices. 
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual base for this position is reasonably expected to be between $70,000 and $100,000.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  

This position includes a Sales Incentive Plan with a target of 25% based on quarterly goal attainment.
