Job description

We are seeking an experienced window installer to join our team. Looking for someone with quality work experience in new construction in vinyl windows and doors.
Responsibilities:
  • Interact with Star customers in a professional manner
  • Load materials from our warehouse
  • Install windows per code and our manufacture specifications
  • Accurately measure and cut materials for precise fit
  • Ensure proper sealing and insulation for energy efficiency.
  • Make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation of all installed products.
  • Maintain and manage tools and equipment to ensure top performance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and job site procedures.
  • Provide professional and positive customer service.
  • Perform warranty inspections and repairs for building materials, including doors, windows, trim, and other installed products.
  • Assess and identify necessary resources, parts, and materials to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and follow-up actions.
  • Manage multiple warranty projects while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Requirements
  • Experience in construction, carpentry, or installation of building materials (doors, windows, trim, or similar products).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve warranty issues effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Professional demeanor and ability to work in residential and commercial settings.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft programs and mobile communication tools.
  • A valid and unrestricted driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
