Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Accounting & Reporting: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; deliver accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Manage revenue recognition, job costing, inventory, and margin reporting for high-volume B2C transactions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain strong internal controls and oversee tax compliance across multiple states.
  • Optimize Systems & Processes: Own accounting systems, improve close timelines, and support integrations with CRM and operational tools.
  • Partner for Growth: Collaborate with Operations and Finance to scale processes and support geographic expansion.
  • Develop Talent: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
Qualifications - What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Preferred qualifications:
  • CPA designation
  • Proven experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
  • ERP implementation or optimization experience (Microsoft Dynamics D365 strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in integrating acquisitions into a unified financial reporting structure
  • Background in B2C, home services, construction, or installation-based businesses
  • Strong leadership track record in managing close processes and accounting teams
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Excel, with a focus on process improvement and scalability
