We are seeking candidates who thrive in a culture of prioritization and execution, with exceptional professional conduct, to join our team as an Automotive Upfitting Technician The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, automotive knowledge, and 12V experience. The Automotive Upfitting Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that our first responders operate safe, reliable, and effective vehicles. The Automotive Upfitting Technicians are tasked with installing the following equipment: Emergency Vehicle Lighting and Control Systems, Sirens, Prisoner Transport Systems, Radios, Radar, In-Car-Camera Systems, License Plate Readers, Equipment Consoles and Cargo Cabinets, Weapon and Drone mounting systems, and front push bars, to name a few.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting pay is $25 per hour and up PLUS BONUS, depending on experience

Attributes of a Strong Candidate
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, hand drills, etc.
  • Proven 12V experience - a must
  • Ability to read blueprints/schematics - a must
  • Capability to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from various sources is a plus
