We’re looking for a highly organized, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys bringing creative projects to life from concept through installation. 
Position Summary

As our Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, managing workflow, producing high-quality large-format graphics, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within quality standards.
This role combines print production, graphic design, project coordination, and some light fabrication. We’re looking for a creative problem solver who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and driving operational efficiencies. 
You will report directly to the Studio Owner and play a critical role in maintaining profitability through efficient production processes, waste reduction, and superior product quality. 
 
Key Responsibilities

Production Operations
  • Manage and prioritize daily production workflow to meet project deadlines.
  • Interpret work orders and ensure projects move efficiently through the production process while maintaining quality control.
  • Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminator, CNC cutting, and related equipment.
  • Perform quality control inspections throughout production.
  • Produce banners, signs, vehicle graphics, wall murals, window graphics, trade show displays, and specialty printed products.
  • Package, prepare, and coordinate completed projects for delivery, shipping, or installation.
  • Monitor production efficiency and continuously seek opportunities to reduce waste and improve processes. 
Graphic Design & Pre-Press
  • Create and modify artwork using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Design signage, branded environments, vehicle graphics, and display materials.
  • Prepare print-ready files and optimize artwork for production.
  • Generate customer proofs and implement revisions as required.
  • Manage digital assets and ensure proper file organization.
  • Utilize CoreBridge (CRM) and Onyx RIP software to manage production workflows. 
Project Design & Light Fabrication
  • Assist in concept development for custom signage and display projects.
  • Design and develop basic fabrication solutions for specialty projects.
  • Perform light fabrication tasks including mounting, trimming, assembling displays, finishing graphics, and creating prototype solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to determine practical production and fabrication approaches.
  • Support installation planning and custom project execution.
  • Participate in site surveys, field measurements, and project assessments when needed.
Equipment, Inventory & Facility Management
  • Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels for media, inks, blades, substrates, hardware, and production supplies.
  • Ensure production areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
  • Document inventory and equipment maintenance activities.
  • Implement best practices to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime. 
Team & Customer Support
  • Communicate proactively regarding schedules, deadlines, and production challenges.
  • Support installations, site surveys, deliveries, and deliver exceptional customer service. 
  • Lead and participate in team meetings
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a positive, solution-oriented work environment. 
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of production experience in large-format printing, signage, graphics, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop required).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence operating production equipment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for occasional travel for site surveys.
 Preferred Requirements

  • Experience designing and producing vehicle wraps and fleet graphics.
  • Experience with CoreBridge, Onyx RIP software, CNC, and wide-format printing equipment.
  • Experience with custom signage fabrication or display assembly.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with project estimating, production planning, or installation management. 
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and assist with installations as required.
  • Comfortable working in a production and warehouse environment.
