Summary (Weekday Availability Focus)

The Lee Canyon Retail Sales Associate assists guests in finding the gear that best fits their needs while providing exceptional customer service. Successful team members are friendly, curious, and enjoy helping others. This position requires weekday availability, as weekday operations rely on consistent staffing and guest support. The role offers opportunities for advancement—team members who demonstrate strong performance and leadership skills may be considered for an increased-pay position with added responsibilities.


Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding guest service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering product knowledge.
  • Accurately process payments and maintain balanced cash drawers.
  • Communicate clearly with guests, teammates, and management.
  • Stock, organize, and merchandise products to maintain an appealing sales floor.
  • Keep the retail area clean and safe, including tasks such as snow removal, trash pick-up, and window cleaning.
  • Assist with guest concerns, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner.

Additional Functions (with Pay Increase)
  • Serve as Leader on Duty when the Retail Manager is not present.
  • Handle escalated guest situations.
  • Oversee inventory tasks, including receiving shipments and entering products into the POS/software system.
  • Open and close the store when scheduled.

Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Capability to perform physical activities such as bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, climbing, carrying, reaching, and stooping.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to over a distance of 50 yards.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver items as needed.
  • Willingness to work in outdoor environments, including in temperatures below 32°F
