Job description

General Cleaner

We are seeking a dependable Part-Time General Cleaner to join our team. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Primary duties include using a ride-on floor cleanign machine and focusing on floor care. Other duties may include: cleaning offices and restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing work surfaces. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and able to read and understand English to follow laboratory signage and complete required documentation.

After completing training, the cleaner will work independently on an assigned route. Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining all floors within building using a ride-on floor scrubber and ride-on carpet cleaning machine, as well as sweeping and mopping stairwells throughout the facility. Candidates must have experience operating ride-on floor care equipment and performing routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning squeegees, replacing scrub pads, and rinsing reservoir tanks.

Because facilities are not accessible by public transportation, applicants must have reliable personal transportation. Free on-site parking is available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES:

•Dust surfaces include desktops, cabinet tops, partitions

•Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to designated disposal area.

•Sweep and mop hard-surfaced floors.

•Vacuum floors using upright vacuum and/or vac packs.

•Spot clean carpet.

•Clean glass areas.

•Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors,

floors.

•Clean restrooms and maintain supplies- ensure restrooms are stocked

•Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.

•Job duties and/or assigned areas may be modified at any time based on customer or manager discretion.

•Follow all company Safety standards and procedures.
