Traveling General Laborer Tarping Installer

Pay: $50,000 to $70,000 per year based on availability and workload

CoverAll Tarping U.S. Inc. is hiring hardworking, reliable individuals for a traveling General Labor Tarping Installer role based out of Madison, WI. This is a hands on position for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and traveling across the country.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work on the road, stay active, and save money while expenses like travel, lodging, and meals are covered.

You will be part of a crew responsible for installing and securing large industrial tarps over material stockpiles such as salt and aggregate, protecting them from weather and contamination.

What You Will Do:
• Install and secure large heavy duty tarps using ropes, straps, and sandbags
• Lift and move materials weighing 50 to 75 plus pounds regularly
• Work at heights and in a variety of weather conditions
• Perform basic tarp sewing and repairs using portable machines
• Follow all PPE, safety, and DOT guidelines
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

Schedule and Travel:
• Travel across the United States
• Typically away for 12 to 14 days at a time
• Long and flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

What We Are Looking For:
• Physically capable of lifting 75 plus pounds consistently
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation to Madison, WI for job departures
