Window Installer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with residential and/or commercial windows and a strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer service. This role involves installing, replacing, and repairing a wide range of window products while ensuring each job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, replace, and repair residential and commercial windows, including vinyl, aluminum, wood, and specialty glass.
  • Measure job sites accurately to ensure proper window fit and installation.
  • Remove old windows with care to avoid damage to property.
  • Prepare openings with proper leveling, shimming, insulation, and sealing.
  • Install trim, stops, caulking, and hardware for a finished and professional result.
  • Diagnose issues such as leaks, drafts, misalignment, and hardware failures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment needed for each project.
  • Document materials used, hours worked, and job notes for accurate project tracking.

Requirements

  • Previous experience installing residential or commercial windows (preferred).
  • Basic carpentry skills and knowledge of construction practices.
  • Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Comfortable using ladders, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
