Job description

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Fuel Lube Technician to perform maintenance duties. This role will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on recycling equipment, compactors, and light trucks to maximize safe and productive operations. Tasks will be defined and evolve in all areas of maintenance operations to ensure preventative maintenance is practiced, repairs, equipment runs in responsibility. This is an opportunity to work as part of the operations team in a safe, productive, environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Follow a consistent and regular schedule to perform various types of maintenance on heavy equipment and various pieces of machinery
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment using tools, machine tools and measuring instruments * Conduct oil changes, lubrication of equipment, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements and assorted services
  • Operate and test equipment * Produce detailed service reports and repair logs
  • Follow all established procedures and protocols * Build positive relationships with internal and external teams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Must have a valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
  • Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Physical Requirements:
  • Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skills
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
  • Occasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
