Job description

Diesel Mechanics of all experience levels are encouraged to apply!
Diesel Mechanics are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000!
WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Diesel Mechanic who will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Reads and interprets Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders
  • Communicates with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs
  • Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Experience, Education, Certification:
  • Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver license.

Physical Requirements:
  • Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skills
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
  • Occasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
