Willow Counseling Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team. This position offers a fully remote work setting, enabling therapists to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic. Our practice values flexibility to cater to the needs of both employees and clients. Therapists will primarily engage with clients through virtual appointments, making use of professional digital platforms for therapy sessions, assessments, and follow-up consultations. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual needs, encompassing psychosocial history and presenting issues.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients, offering a safe space to explore their emotions and challenges.
• Organize and lead psychoeducational groups to foster community support and shared learning among clients grappling with similar issues.
• Provide crisis intervention services, equipping clients with coping mechanisms and support during acute mental health episodes.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create cohesive care plans.
• Educate patients on mental health topics, providing resources and strategies for self-management and recovery.
• Maintain precise and compliant documentation following the highest ethical standards to ensure client confidentiality and care integrity.
• Participate in routine supervision and training sessions to refine skills and remain informed about current best practices in mental health care.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse patient population that includes adults, adolescents, couples, and families. Each therapist will adapt their approach based on age, background, and specific mental health needs, providing culturally competent care that recognizes and respects individual experiences.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field is required. Candidates with a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field are preferred.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment methodologies, particularly evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional skills in therapeutic communication, conflict resolution, and active listening.
• Ability to effectively conduct evaluations and design treatment pathways for patients.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment plans.
• A strong commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality.

• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical mental health counseling, preferably within an outpatient setting.
• Experience delivering group therapy and leading community-based support sessions.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
