Job description

Overhead Door Company of Springfield, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking to hire an Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician! We are searching for an Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technicians or individuals with Electromechanical Technician experience. Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. overhead. Valid Driver's License and good driving record required. We are willing to train!

 Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including: roll up doors also known as dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, and automatic pedestrian doors
  • Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
  • Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Able to safely lift 100 pounds
  • Welding experience preferred but not required
  • Must Possess a valid driver's license and have good driving record 
  • Experienced Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technicians or individuals with Electromechanical Technician experience
