What is a will call representative?

A Will Call Representative is responsible for managing orders that customers pick up directly from a business location rather than having them shipped. They verify customer identification, ensure that orders are accurate and complete, and coordinate with warehouse or sales staff to facilitate smooth pickups. Will Call Representatives often provide customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and handling payment or documentation related to the order. Their role is vital in ensuring customers have a positive experience when retrieving their orders in person.

To thrive as a Will Call Representative, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with order fulfillment or customer service, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with inventory management systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and basic office equipment is typically required. Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and time management skills help you provide excellent service and efficiently handle customer inquiries.
