Concrete Finishers / Concrete Carpenters - Fremont, Nebraska

$23-$32/hour DOE + Overtime Available

Gleeson is hiring experienced Concrete Finishers/Concrete Carpenters for a large-scale food-processing facility expansion at Wholestone Farms in Fremont, Nebraska.

This is not residential construction. This project includes industrial concrete floors, reinforced slabs, equipment pads, curbs, foundations, and food-grade construction where precision, durability, and quality matter.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

Reinforced industrial concrete slabs and foundations
Concrete curbs and food-grade concrete construction
Equipment pads and structural concrete elements
Concrete work integrated with refrigeration and processing systems
Food processing facility construction requiring quality workmanship and attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES

Place, finish, and cure concrete for industrial slabs, foundations, curbs, and equipment pads
Set and align forms for foundations, walls, curbs, and slab work
Screed, float, edge, and finish concrete to specified tolerances and elevations
Install reinforcing steel and anchor bolts as required
Cut joints and ensure proper curing methods are followed
Read and work from construction drawings and layout information
Work with crews to maintain quality, safety, and production goals
Assist with carpentry and general construction activities as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience in commercial or industrial concrete construction
Ability to place and finish large concrete pours with consistency and precision
Understanding of concrete placement, formwork, and finishing techniques
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed

REQUIREMENTS

Prior concrete finishing and/or concrete formwork experience required
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work overtime as project needs require
Follow all jobsite safety requirements
Pre-employment drug screen and physical
