PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Under direct supervision transports a small number of students from designated stops in a safe and timely manner..
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Class C License
  • 20 hour School Bus Certification
Experience:
  • Minimum of six months of driving experience
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Picks up students at designated stops and delivers students to designated locations in the BISD area.
  2. Completes the student code of conduct sheets and submits them to the supervisor.
  3. Performs all job duties in a safe and timely manner. Complies with local traffic regulations. Reports delays or accidents.
  4. Verifies that equipment is operating correctly. May be required to conduct pre-trip inspections.
  5. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
