Job description

ABBA Roller is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I (Wheel Builder) to support the assembly and build of rubber wheels. This is an entry-level, hands-on manufacturing role with training provided. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn precision manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.

About ABBA: ABBA Roller specializes in high-performance urethane rollers and custom elastomer solutions for industrial and commercial applications. We support customers across diverse industries with durable, precision-engineered products.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the assembly and building of rubber wheels under the direction of experienced technicians.
  • Prepare materials, hubs, and components for wheel building.
  • Support wrapping, handling, and staging of wheels during the build process.
  • Perform basic measurements using tools such as calipers and gauges (training provided).
  • Assist with operating production equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
  • Conduct visual and basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and on-time delivery.
  • Perform additional tasks and support special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, or shop experience is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.
Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Entry-level, 0-1 years experience required, no prior wheel-building experience required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
  • Good close and distance vision.
