Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region, offering a unique opportunity to grow and develop as a Registered Nurse through a structured residency program. This role provides general nursing care in emergency and acute care settings, guided by experienced preceptors and supported by a comprehensive curriculum designed to enhance critical competencies such as communication, time management, and patient safety.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Nursing Services Manager, the RN Resident delivers nursing care using sound judgment and foundational knowledge of nursing principles. The position involves medication administration, patient assessment, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure continuity and excellence of care.
Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and under guided supervision.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to physicians and healthcare team members.
  • Document patient care, including medications, vital signs, and care plans within 24 hours of admission.
  • Deliver direct patient care adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and in-service training to foster teamwork and professional growth.
  • Engage in special projects and continuous learning activities.
Education and Experience
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of Washington.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), and TNCC certifications required within 12 months of hire.
